On July 4, 2024, a regular meeting of the Academic Council of the V.M. Koretsky Institute of State and Law of the NAS of Ukraine was held.

The meeting considered a number of important issues of the activities of the V.M. Koretsky Institute of State and Law of the NAS of Ukraine.

1. Information on the scientific events held was heard.

2. A decision was made to confer the academic title of Professor on Doctor of Law Falalieieva L.G.

3. The composition of one-time specialized academic councils was approved.

4. The topics of doctoral dissertations and dissertations for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy were approved by the decision of the scientific and methodological commission.

5. Certificates were awarded to postgraduate students who successfully completed training within the framework of the EU project «Jean Monnet Modules» (ERAS MUS-JMO-2023-MODULE).

The information about the scientific events dedicated to the 28th anniversary of the Constitution of Ukraine was provided by the Director of the V.M. Koretsky Institute of State and Law of the NAS of Ukraine, Doctor of Law, Professor, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Vice-President of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Honored Lawyer of Ukraine Oleksandr Skrypnyuk. In his speech, Oleksandr Vasyliovych announced that the Institute received positive feedback from the public about the All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference "28th Anniversary of the Constitution of Ukraine: Experience, Military Trials and Post-War Renaissance" held on June 26, 2024 at the V.M. Koretsky Institute of State and Law of the NAS of Ukraine.

The Institute also participated in conferences dedicated to the celebration of the Constitution Day at the Constitutional Court of Ukraine, at the Kyiv University of Law of the NAS of Ukraine, and at the State Institution "V.K. Mamutov Institute of Economic and Legal Research of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine". «Soon we will hold another conference dedicated to Independence Day. These two events are related to statehood, — emphasized Oleksandr Skrypnyuk.

Another significant event for the Institute was participation in the presentation of the Ukrainian-language edition of Tom Bingham's book "The Rule of Law", edited by Serhiy Holovaty. This book is a key publication in the field of law. It was published in Ukrainian translation with the aim of raising awareness of the idea of ​​the rule of law, its development and establishment among Ukrainian lawyers.
