Round table on the topic:

On August 19, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at the V. M. Koretsky Institute of State and Law of the NAS of Ukraine, a Round Table will be held on the topic:

«The state-building path from the proclamation to the protection of Ukraine's independence: legal foundations and current challenges»

(to the 34th anniversary of the declaration of independence of Ukraine)

Questions for discussion:

1. Constitutional and legal foundations and guarantees of the independence of Ukraine.

2. Current problems of legal support for the protection of independence, state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine in the context of modern challenges of armed aggression of the Russian Federation.

3. Implementation of institutional mechanisms and tools for monitoring the exercise of powers and obligations to protect the independence and territorial integrity of Ukraine under martial law.

4. Trends in improving legislation and law enforcement practice to increase the effectiveness of protecting Ukraine's independence. International legal mechanisms for protecting and affirming Ukraine's independence.
