In 2004, he graduated from the National Pedagogical University named after M.P. Dragomanov (Faculty of Social and Humanitarian Sciences, specialty «Jurisprudence»; with honors). In 2007, he completed postgraduate studies at the V.M. Koretsky Institute of State and Law of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.
Junior Research Fellow of the Institute (2007—2010), Research Fellow of the Institute (2010—2015), Senior Research Fellow of the Institute (2015). Senior Lecturer, later Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal Law and Process of the Kyiv University of Law of the NAS of Ukraine (part-time) (2009—2015). Lawyer (2009), member of the Committee on Criminal Law and Procedure of the National Bar Association of Ukraine.
Defended PhD thesis on the topic: «Criminal law protection of intellectual property rights» in specialty 12.00.08 (criminal law and criminology: criminal enforcement law) (2008).
Scope of scientific interests: criminal-legal protection of intellectual property rights, procedural rights of participants in criminal proceedings, criminal-legal counteraction to corruption, military justice, legal regulation of the circulation of firearms.
He is the author (co-author) of more than 140 scientific, scientific-journalistic and journalistic works. In particular, an individual monograph has been published: «Criminological characteristics of the personality of a criminal who committed a sexual crime against a minor» (Khmelnytskyi, 2010). Co-author of monographs, encyclopedias: «Legal formation in Ukraine: theoretical, methodological and applied aspects» (Kyiv, 2010); «Small encyclopedia of private law» (Kyiv, 2011); «The Legal System of Ukraine in the Context of Modern National and International Trends in Statehood Building» (Kyiv, 2012); «Small Encyclopedia of Criminal Law» (Kyiv, 2012); «Combating Crimes in the Sphere of Official Activity (Criminological, Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure Problems)» (Kyiv, 2014); «Ensuring Law and Order in Ukraine by Means of Criminal Justice» (Kyiv, 2017).
Awarded with the Honorary Award of the National Bar Association of Ukraine, 1st degree (2021); Gratitude of the Presidium of the NAS of Ukraine (2024); Gratitude of the High Council of Justice (2024).
