BONDARUK Tetyana Ivanivna — well-known researcher of the history of the state and law of Ukraine, senior researcher of the Department of the History of the State and Law of Ukraine, candidate of legal sciences (1995), senior researcher. Yaroslav the Wise Prize (2005), Mykola Prokopovych Vasylenko Prize (2022).
She graduated from Boyar Secondary School No. 3 (1984), the Law Faculty of Taras Shevchenko Kyiv State University (now Taras Shevchenko Kyiv National University) with a degree in Jurisprudence (1991), postgraduate studies at the V. M. Koretsky Institute of State and Law of the NAS of Ukraine (1994). Since then, at the V. M. Koretsky Institute of State and Law of the NAS of Ukraine: junior researcher; from 1997 — Research Fellow of the Department of Historical and Political Studies; in 1998-2004 — Senior Research Fellow of the «Center for Organizational and Scientific-Methodological Support for the Preparation of the «Legal Encyclopedia»; from 2004 — Senior Research Fellow of the Department of Historical and Legal Studies part-time; from 2009 and to the present — Senior Research Fellow, Department of History of State and Law of Ukraine.
Scientific research: history of the state and law of Ukraine, problems of the formation and development of the science of the history of law, in particular the life and work of its prominent representatives, problems of law-making and legal understanding, methodological problems of legal science, state and legal thought.
Defended her PhD thesis («The Concept of Western Russian Law and Its Influence on the Development of Ukrainian Historical and Legal Science») (1995).
Main works. Author of over 100 scientific publications devoted to the history of historical and legal science, problematic issues of the state and legal development of Ukraine in the Middle Ages, political and legal thought, etc. In particular, the individual monograph: «Western Russian Law: Researchers and Research» (Kyiv Historical and Legal School (Kyiv, 2000); «Historical and Legal Essays» (Kyiv, 2017); «Ukrainian Jurisprudence in the Humanitarian Paradigm: Research Visions and Accents» (Kyiv, 2021), chapters in collective monographs: «Legal Ideology and Law of Ukraine at the Stage of Formation of the Totalitarian Regime» (1929-1941)» (Kyiv, 2001), «Legal Custom as a Source of Ukrainian Law of the 9th-19th Centuries» (Kyiv, 2006), «Judicial Power in Ukraine: Historical Origins, Patterns, Peculiarities development» (K., 2015). Co-editor of the publications «Academic Legal Thought» (K., 1998), which according to the results of the competition for the best legal publication of the year was awarded the first prize of the Union of Lawyers of Ukraine, «Anthology of Ukrainian Legal Thought», «M. P. Vasylenko. Selected Works. In Three Volumes» (2006-2008). Prepared over 30 articles for the six-volume «Legal Encyclopedia».
