GORBACHOV Dmytro Mykolayovych — Senior Researcher of the Department of Criminal Justice and Criminology, Candidate of Law.
In 2010, he graduated from the Kyiv National University of Internal Affairs with a degree in «law», obtained the qualification of a lawyer and received the special rank of lieutenant of the police.

In 2014 he defended his dissertation for the degree of Candidate of Law Scienceson the topic: «Complicity in crimes with a special subject (on the example of crimes in the sphere of official activity and professional activity related to the provision of public services) (specialty 12.00.08 «criminal law and criminology; criminal enforcement law»). In 2014, he received a diploma of a candidate of legal sciences in the specialty 12.00.08 — criminal law and criminology; criminal enforcement law.

In 2010, he was awarded the special rank of police lieutenant and appointed to the position of investigator of the Lutsk Regional Department of Internal Affairs of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in the Volyn region. In 2012, he was awarded another special rank of senior police lieutenant upon voluntary dismissal from service.
In 2012, he was appointed to the position of assistant judge of the Volyn region Court of Appeal. УIn 2015, he was appointed to the position of scientific consultant of the Supreme Court of Ukraine. In 2018, he was transferred to the position of chief specialist, and later (from 2023 to the present) to the position of scientific consultant of the Supreme Court. 
Since 2024, he has been a part-time senior researcher at the Department of Criminal Law, Criminology and Judiciary (now the Department of Criminal Justice and Criminology) of the V. M. Koretsky Institute of State and Law of the NAS of Ukraine.

The main areas of scientific activity are the problems of complicity in a criminal offense, liability for offenses related to corruption, and means of proving them.
