The staff of the institute
ROMINSKYI Yevgen Viktorovych — historian of law, state and legal science, researcher at the Department of History of State and Law of Ukraine.
He graduated from Secondary School No. 78 (1998), with honors from the Ukrainian State College "ALSKO" with a degree in "Jurisprudence" (2000), with honors from the correspondence department of the Kyiv University of Law (2005).
He worked in 2000-2003 as a legal advisor at CJSC "Borysfen", chief specialist-legal advisor of the State Archives Committee of Ukraine (2004-2006). Simultaneously with his practical activities, since 2000 he collaborated with the Department of Historical and Political Studies of State and Law, later — of historical and legal research at the V. M. Koretsky Institute of State and Law of the NAS of Ukraine.
At the V. M. Koretsky Institute of State and Law of the NAS of Ukraine since 2006: junior researcher; from 2011 to the present - researcher of the Department of Historical and Legal Research (now the Department of History of State and Law of Ukraine).
At the same time, he carried out teaching activities as an assistant at the Department of Theory and History of State and Law of the Kyiv University of Law of the NAS of Ukraine (2008-2009), a lecturer at the Department of General Legal Disciplines of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Law and Psychology of the National Academy of Internal Affairs (2010).
Scientific research:history of state and law of Ukraine and foreign countries, history of Ukrainian legal science, legal biography, problems of legislative technique and Ukrainian legal terminology; development of the state and law of medieval states.
Main works. Author of over 140 printed scientific works and over 250 works published in electronic sources. In particular: «Vasylenko Mykola Prokopovich. Selected works in three volumes» (K., 2006-2008, member of the editorial team), «Judicial power in Ukraine: historical origins, patterns, peculiarities of development» (K., 2014, author of the section), «Koretsky Vladimir Mikhailovich. Selected works. T. 3» (K., 2015, head of the editorial team), «Academician Boris Musiyovych Babiy: To the 100th anniversary of his birth» (K., 2016, member of the editorial team), «Usenko Ihor Borysovych: to the 60th anniversary of his birth and 35th anniversary of scientific and pedagogical activity» (K., 2017, member of the editorial team). Participant in many encyclopedic projects: «Legal Encyclopedia» (1998-2004), «Anthology of Ukrainian Legal Thought» (2002-2005), «Encyclopedia of the History of Ukraine» (2003-2013), «Encyclopedia of Modern Ukraine» (since 2001), «Encyclopedia of International Law» (2014-2019), «Great Ukrainian Legal Encyclopedia» (from 2016), etc.
Member of the International Association of Legal Historians (since 2005), member of the editorial board of many scientific collections of this association. He has repeatedly been involved in working groups at executive authorities to prepare draft laws of Ukraine.
