KHUDOYIAR Lesya Viktorivna — Senior Research Fellow, Department of History of State and Law of Ukraine, Candidate of Law (2015).

Graduated from Specialized Secondary School No. 135 in Kyiv (2000), with honors from Kyiv University of Law of the NAS of Ukraine, majoring in «Jurisprudence» (2005).

Began her career as a legal advisor at the «Technofilter» technical fabric factory (2003), legal advisor at CJSC «Borysfen» (2004). Since 2005 — Lecturer, later Senior Lecturer at the Department of Theory and History of State and Law «PrAOC VNZ National Academy of Management»; since 2010 — Lecturer at the Department of Economic Law and Process of the National Academy of Internal Affairs; all — Kyiv.

At the V. M. Koretsky Institute of State and Law of the NAS since 2012: Leading Engineer of the Department of Historical and Legal Research, from 2016 — Junior Research Fellow, from 2017 — Research Fellow, from 2022 to present — Senior Research Fellow, Department of History of State and Law of Ukraine.

Scientific research: history of state and law of Ukraine, monuments of Ukrainian law, history of political and legal thought, constitutional law, law of the Cossack-Hetman period, formation of the principle of equality in Ukrainian and European law, legal registration of the sovereignty of the Ukrainian state.

Defended her PhD thesis («Principle of equality in Ukrainian law of the Cossack-Hetman period») in specialty 12.00.01. (2015).

Main works. Author of over 90 scientific works, of which over 70 scientific works in professional publications and collections of scientific works. In particular, individual: monograph «The Principle of Equality in Ukrainian Law of the Cossack-Hetman Era» (2017); monograph «The Principle of Equality in the European and Ukrainian Constitutional Tradition of the 18th-20th Centuries» (1923); collective: «The Judicial Power in Ukraine: Historical Origins, Laws, and Peculiarities of Development» (2014); «State Sovereignty of Ukraine in the 20th Century: Legal Principles: A Scientific Note» (2024).

Member of the International Association of Legal Historians (IAHL) (since 2006). Scholarship holder of the President of Ukraine and the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine for young scientists (since 2016).

Awards: Gratitude from the V. M. Koretsky Institute of State and Law of the NAS of Ukraine (2014), Diploma of the Presidium of the NAS of Ukraine for the individual monograph "The Principle of Equality in Ukrainian Law of the Cossack-Hetman Era" based on the results of the competition of works of young scientists (2017), Diploma of Honor of the Union of Lawyers of Ukraine (2019), Diploma of the Department of History, Philosophy and Law of the NAS of Ukraine (2024), Jubilee Diploma of the V. M. Koretsky Institute of State and Law of the NAS of Ukraine (2024).
