Lvova Olena Leonidivna – Senior Researcher, Department of Theory of State and Law, Candidate of Legal Sciences.

Graduated from the Faculty of Law of the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv (1999, Master's degree with honors), Ukrainian Evangelical Theological Seminary (2017, Master's degree with honors). Internship under the program "Assistant to the Chairman of the Committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine" in the Committee on Science and Education (1998–1999). After graduating from Taras Shevchenko University, she began research work as a trainee researcher at the Department of Theory of State and Law of the V. M. Koretsky Institute of State and Law of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (1999), later — as a junior research fellow, research fellow, and senior research fellow (since 2009).

Defended a dissertation on the topic: «Comparative Law: Nature and Methodological Significance» (2002) for the degree of Candidate of Law in specialty 12.00.01. Awarded the academic title of Senior Research Fellow in specialty 12.00.01 (2015).

Part-time (since 2000) she taught legal disciplines at the National Academy of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, Kyiv University of Law, National Academy of the Security Service of Ukraine, National University "Kyiv-Mohyla Academy", Kyiv University of Market Relations, University of Modern Knowledge, Kyiv National Linguistic University, NNTU «KPI named after Igor Sikorsky» and others.

Experience in legal practice, in particular, legal advisor to private enterprises (1998-1999), lawyer of the NGO "Anti-Corruption Center" (2013), etc.

In 2016, he was awarded the academic title of senior researcher in the specialty of theory of state and law; history of political and legal doctrines.

The sphere of scientific research of the scientist is axiological aspects of law, including problems of modern legal understanding, in particular natural law and the level of its reflection in modern legislation. Legal ideology, religion as a value-normative system, legal doctrine as a value matrix of law, ideas of prominent reformers about state power are studied; The article analyzes the value-based practical aspects of lawmaking, contemporary problems of gender equality in Ukraine, the understanding of "hate speech" in the context of the implementation of the right to freedom of speech and worldview; the concepts of anomalies in law, legal boundaries and moral criteria in the process of liberalization of Ukrainian legislation are determined.

Together with a team of co-authors, scientific reports, concepts, and supporting lecture notes were prepared, including: «Concept for Ensuring and Protecting the Rights of the Child in Ukraine» (K., 2013), «Concept for Improving the Institute of Legal Responsibility of the State to Civil Society and the Individual in Ukraine» (K., 2014), «Concept of improving the dialogue between civil society, the individual and the state in the context of ensuring and protecting human rights in Ukraine» (K., 2015); «Current problems of the theory of state and law» (2016), «National legal system: reform and renewal» (2017), etc.; participation in the preparation of comments and proposals to draft regulatory legal acts of Ukraine.

He is the author of articles for the «Legal Encyclopedia» (2004), «International Police Encyclopedia» (2003-2005), «Great Encyclopedic Legal Dictionary» (2012), «Anthology of Ukrainian Legal Thought» (2004).

She was a co-editor of the professional publication of the V. M. Koretsky Institute of State and Law of the NAS of Ukraine «Almanach of Law»; a member of the editorial board of the Bulletin of NTUU «KPI» Political science. Sociology. Law. Public figure, active member and expert of the public movement « All Together" and the "Cabinet of Experts" community (since 2015), within which valuable achievements of Ukrainian legal science are popularized through participation in radio and television broadcasts, press conferences, etc. Deputy Head of the NGO "Society of Christian Communications "Vinogradnyk" (since 2010). Scholar of the Presidium of the NAS of Ukraine (2003), Laureate of the Yaroslav the Wise State Prize for the preparation and publication of textbooks for students of legal specialties of higher educational institutions (2014).

Awarded with the Certificate of the Ministry of Family, Youth and Sports of Ukraine for conscientious and fruitful work and significant contribution to the implementation of state policy, dedication to the cause and on the occasion of the Independence Day of Ukraine (2007); Certificate of the Mayor of Kyiv (2019), etc.
