Born March 28, 1973, Korosten, Zhytomyr region

KHODAKIVSKY Mykhailo Dmytrovych  – Candidate of Political Sciences, Senior Researcher. 

Graduated from the National Pedagogical University named after M. P. Dragomanov with a degree in «teacher of history and law» (1995, diploma with honors) and postgraduate studies at the V. M. Koretsky Institute of State and Law of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (1998).

He began his career in December 1991 at the Fastiv State Museum of Local Lore as a curator (from June 1993 to January 1995 — senior curator). After completing his postgraduate studies -from November 1998 to November 2000, junior researcher at the Department of Historical and Political Studies of the State and Law of Ukraine of the V.M. Koretsky Institute of State and Law of the NAS of Ukraine, from November 2000 — researcher, and from May 2007— senior researcher of this department. From February 2012 to the present, he is a senior researcher at the Department of Legal Problems of Political Science (now the Department of Interdisciplinary and Comparative Legal Studies) of the V.M. Koretsky Institute of State and Law of the NAS of Ukraine. In 1998, he defended his dissertation for the degree of Candidate of Political Sciences on the topic: «Society in the Context of Culture: Ethnopolitical Analysis» (specialty 23.00.05 — ethnopolitical science and ethnopolitical science).

Lecturer at the Kyiv University of Law of the NAS of Ukraine (2000-2002), Chairman of the Council of Young Scientists of the V. M. Koretsky Institute of State and Law of the NAS of Ukraine (2002—2007).

Scientific Secretary of the Specialized Academic Council for the Degree of Doctor (Candidate) in Political Sciences at the V. M. Koretsky Institute of State and Law of the NAS of Ukraine (2004—2021).

Main areas of scientific research — ethnopolitical science, cultural studies, scientific methodology.
