KRASILICH Nataliya Dmytrivna — Senior Researcher of the Department of Agrarian, Land, Environmental and Space Law Problems, Senior Researcher, Candidate of Law, Associate Professor.

Graduated from the Faculty of Law of Taras Shevchenko University of Kyiv (1976) with a degree in Law.

From August 1976 to 1990, she worked at the Institute of State and Law of the Academy of Sciences of Ukraine as a research intern, junior researcher, and researcher. 

 Since 2015, she has been working as a Senior Researcher of the Department of Agrarian, Land, Environmental and Space Law Problems of the V. M. Koretsky Institute of State and Law of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.

Currently, she is researching environmental and legal problems in zones of armed conflict.

In 1988, she successfully defended her dissertation on the topic: «Organizational and Legal Issues of the Protection of the Nature Reserve Fund» for the degree of Candidate of Law (specialty 12.00.02, scientific supervisor Yu. S. Shemshuchenko).

She has extensive experience in teaching. Since 1990, she has worked at the Kyiv National University of Trade and Economics as a senior lecturer, associate professor, deputy dean of the faculty, and professor of the Department of Commercial Law. In addition, she part-time gave lectures at other universities. During her work at universities, she taught the following disciplines: civil law, business law, contract law, competition law, etc. Under her scientific supervision, six candidate theses were prepared and successfully defended. In addition, she has repeatedly acted as an opponent for candidate theses on environmental law issues.

From 2000 to 2009, she worked at the International Center for Space Law at the V. M. Koretsky Institute of State and Law of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and at the Department of Agrarian, Land, and Environmental Law of the V. M. Koretsky Institute of State and Law of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine as a senior research fellow. During this period, she repeatedly participated as a member of the Ukrainian delegation in the sessions of the Legal Subcommittee of the UN Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space. She participated in the study of scientific topics of the department and the Center, in the development of draft legislative and other regulatory legal acts, the preparation of conclusions of scientific and legal expertise, and the popularization of knowledge on environmental and space law. As an expert, she participated in the implementation of a number of national and international programs on environmental protection, development of commercial law, international space law.

She has more than 100 published scientific and scientific-methodical works on environmental, space, civil and commercial law. She is the author of chapters in the collective monographs «Legal Principles of Implementation of the Convention on Biological Diversity in Ukraine» (Kyiv, 2003), «Decentralization of Power in Ukraine and the Development of Ecological and Natural Resource Legal Relations» (Kyiv, 2019), etc. She participated in the preparation of chapters of textbooks and teaching aids with the seal of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, in particular «Environmental Law of Ukraine. Academic Course» (Kyiv, 2005, 2008), «Civil Law» (Kyiv, 2005), prepared 18 articles for the 3-volume «Ecological Encyclopedia» (Kyiv, 2006—2008).
