MOLYAVKO Olesya Mykhailivna, Researcher of the Department of Civil and Legal Sciences of the V. M. Koretsky Institute of State and Law of the NAS of Ukraine, Candidate of Law.

In 1988, she graduated with honors from Taras Shevchenko Kyiv State University, majoring in law, qualification — lawyer.

At the V. M. Koretsky Institute of State and Law of the NAS of Ukraine since 1990. 1990—1991 — engineer of the Laboratory of State and Legal Sociological Research; 1991—1994 — postgraduate student with a break from production in the specialty of civil law, family law, private international law; 1994—2014 — Junior Researcher, Department of Civil and Labor Law; from 2014 to the present — Researcher, Department of Civil, Labor and Business Law (now — Department of Civil Law Sciences).

In 2012, she defended her PhD thesis in the specialty of civil law and civil procedure; family law; private international law on the topic: «Civil-legal aspects of corporate liability» at the specialized academic council at the V. M. Koretsky Institute of State and Law of the NAS of Ukraine.

Scientific interests include issues of civil law, civil procedural law, family law (including aspects of private international law), etc.

During the period of her scientific activity, she wrote about 40 scientific works, including sections and chapters in collective monographs, scientific and practical commentaries, textbooks, reference and encyclopedic publications, etc.

Among his main works: the chapter «Life Support Contract» in the monograph «Evolution of Civil Legislation of Ukraine: Problems of Theory and Practice» (2008); chapter ’Subjects of civil and corporate liability» in the monograph: ’Subjects of civil law» (2009); chapter ’Legal regulation of marital agreements in the event of death» in the monograph «Problems of civil legal relations in modern Ukraine» (2013); chapter «Comparative analysis of the institute of inheritance law in the legislation of Ukraine and the EU countries» in the monograph «Harmonization of civil and civil procedural legislation of Ukraine with the legislation of the European Union: monograph» (2018); sections I, III of the analysis of procedural legislation within the framework of the Council of Europe project «Support for the implementation by Ukraine of the judgments of the European Court of Human Rights» — «Compliance of Ukrainian procedural legislation with the requirements of paragraph 1 of Article 6 of the European Convention on Human Rights»; chapter «Application of security obligations’ in the monograph «Ensuring the fulfillment of obligations in the civil law of Ukraine: problems of theory and practice: monograph» (2023), etc.

In 2008, she received the qualification of a mediator, which she confirmed in 2022.

She was a member of the German-Ukrainian Association of Judges, Lawyers and Legal Experts (Germany, Frankfurt) from 2016 to 2021.

She obtained the status of a national expert in the Council of Europe project «Supporting the Implementation of Decisions of the European Court of Human Rights by Ukraine».
