SUNEGIN Serhiy Oleksandrovych — theorist of state and law. Candidate of Law (2011).
Graduated from Specialized School No. 112 named after T. Shevchenko in Kyiv (2001, with a silver medal), the Law Faculty of Kyiv University of Law of the NAS of Ukraine (2006, specialist diploma with honors), postgraduate study at the Institute of State and Law of the NAS of Ukraine (2009).
He has been working at the V. M. Koretsky Institute of State and Law of the NAS of Ukraine since April 2011 — as a junior researcher in the Department of Theory of State and Law of the Institute, since September 2013 — as a researcher in the department, since August 2019 — as a senior researcher.
In 2011, a dissertation was defended for the degree of Candidate of Legal Sciences on the topic: «Theoretical and Legal Characteristics of Static and Dynamic Elements in the Romano-Germanic Legal Family’.
The scope of scientific interests is the study of the theory of modern legal systems, their structural elements and issues of their transformation in the process of globalization; the theory of legal responsibility as one of the factors ensuring legality and law and order in society; problems of the correlation and interconnection of law and morality; problems of legal regulation of the modern information space, etc.
Over 80 scientific works have been published, including chapters in collective monographs and textbooks, in particular:

- He is the author of many articles in the second edition of the Great Encyclopedic Legal Dictionary (2012).
Awarded the Yaroslav the Wise Award for the preparation and publication of textbooks for students of law majors at higher education institutions (2014). Is a laureate of the President of Ukraine Award for Young Scientists (2019). Honorary Diploma of the V.M. Koretsky Institute of State and Law of the NAS of Ukraine for significant personal contribution to the development of legal science, strengthening ties with the practice of state-building and law-making and in connection with the 70th anniversary of the V.M. Koretsky Institute of State and Law of the NAS of Ukraine (2019), Certificate of the V.M. Koretsky Institute of State and Law of the NAS of Ukraine for many years of fruitful creative work, high professionalism and active participation in the life of the Institute's staff (2022).
