VASETSKY Viacheslav Yuriiovych — Research Fellow at the V.M. Koretsky Institute of State and Law of the NAS of Ukraine, Candidate of Law, Legal Scholar.
Graduated from the Faculty of Law of the National Technical University «Kyiv Polytechnic Institute» in 2002 and obtained the qualification of a lawyer, postgraduate study at the Institute of State and Law of the NAS of Ukraine in 2005.
He has been working at the V. M. Koretsky Institute of State and Law of the NAS of Ukraine since November 2005 after completing his postgraduate studies as a junior research fellow in the Department of Theory of State and Law of the Institute, and in February 2008 — as a research fellow in the department.
In 2006, he defended his dissertation for the degree of Candidate of Law on the topic: «Doctrine of Human Rights in the Romano-Germanic Legal System».
The sphere of his scientific interests includes the problems of improving the legal system, the implementation of human and citizen rights and freedoms in Ukraine, the problems of the legal responsibility of the state to the individual, the origins of changes in the legal sphere as a result of significant socio-political events, lawmaking under martial law, and the legal consequences of the Russian Federation's aggression against Ukraine.
