Born July 5, 1983, Pryluky, Chernihiv region.

ZAVITNEVYCH Roman Yuriiovych — leading engineer of the DDepartment of Criminal Justice and Criminology. 

He studied at the Pryluky Pedagogical College named after I. Ya. Franko (1998–2002); Nizhyn State University named after M. Gogol.
(2001–2006), the Academy of Management of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (2006–2007); Chernihiv Regional Institute of Postgraduate Pedagogical Education named after K.D. Ushynsky (2010–2012).

Service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine (2002–2004). Service in the Pryluky correctional colony (2005–2007). Work at the Kyiv University of Law of the NAS Ukraine (2007–2009).

Since November 2009, he has been working at the Institute. Administrator of corporate digital resources of the NAS of Ukraine. Since May 2023 — postgraduate student at the Institute.

Science interests: penitentiary, penitentiary systems of the member states of the European Community and Ukraine.

Repeatedly awarded honorary diplomas of the Institute.
