Director of the V. M. Koretsky Institute of State and Law of the NAS of Ukraine Oleksandr Skrypniuk took part in a meeting of the Coordination Center

On May 26, a meeting was held at the Olympic Committee of Ukraine to discuss the implementation of the scientific and practical interdepartmental project "Sports Law of Ukraine".

The meeting was opened by the First Vice President of the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine Oleksiy Perevezentsev. In his speech, he emphasized the importance of further development of sports law as a tool for ensuring the effective functioning of the sports sphere, and also emphasized the importance of interdepartmental interaction and strengthening legal expertise in the field of sports in the face of modern challenges.

With a report on the activities of the Coordination Center of the Scientific and Practical Interdepartmental Project "Sports Law of Ukraine" Director of the Center Yuriy Kryzsky spoke. He informed the participants about the main areas of work and the results achieved during the reporting period.

Members of the Coordination Center Yevgeny Popko and Oksana Zalizko reported on the work on methodological support for the training of specialists in the field of sports law and on initiatives to introduce separate courses on international sports law, contacts in sports at the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.

Director of the V. M. Koretsky Institute of State and Law of the NAS of Ukraine, Vice-President of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Doctor of Law, Professor Olexandr Skrypnyuk raised the problems of legal support for the development of sports law in Ukraine, about the regulatory documents that ensure work in this area and the introduction of innovations.

During the discussion, the website was also presented, and the presentation materials on the further development of the project and its communication component.

Following the results of the meeting, the participants noted the importance of systemic development, strengthening interdepartmental interaction and further coordination of the efforts of all involved institutions. The joint commitment to the practical implementation of the adopted decisions, improving the regulatory framework in the field of sports and active development of the project in 2026 was confirmed.
