On April 24, 2025, a meeting of the Academic Council of the V.M. Koretsky Institute of State and Law of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine was held.

The meeting was opened by the Chairman of the Academic Council, Director of the V. M. Koretsky Institute of State and Law of the NAS of Ukraine, Doctor of Law, Professor, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Vice-President of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Honored Lawyer of Ukraine Oleksandr Skrypnyuk.

The first item on the agenda was the signing of a number of Memoranda. In particular, the Memorandum on Cooperation between the V. M. Koretsky Institute of State and Law of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and the Hennadiy Udovenko Diplomatic Academy of Ukraine under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine. The Memorandum was signed on behalf of the Institute by Director Olexandr Skrypnyuk, and on behalf of the Diplomatic Academy by Rector Hennadiy Nadolenko.

Memorandum of Cooperation between the V.M. Koretsky Institute of State and Law of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and the Kyiv National University of Civil Engineering and Architecture. On behalf of the Institute, the Memorandum was signed by Director Olexandr Skrypnyuk, and on behalf of the University, by Rector Olexiy Dniprov.

Memorandum of Cooperation between the V.M. Koretsky Institute of State and Law of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and the Publishing House «Yurinkom Inter». The Memorandum was signed on behalf of the Institute by Olexander Skrypnyuk, and on behalf of the publishing house by Sergiy Karapetyan.

Olexander Skrypnyuk, signing the Memorandums, noted that a new page of cooperation is being opened and the purpose of their writing is to consolidate efforts in the normative, scientific, educational and publishing activities of the institutions.

The invited speaker, the Chairman of the Cassation Administrative Court of the Supreme Court, Doctor of Law Mykhailo Smokovich, congratulated the Director of the V. M. Koretsky Institute of State and Law of the NAS of Ukraine Oleksandr Skrypnyuk on his 65th anniversary and presented him with the Certificate of Honor of the Supreme Court.

The topic of the substantive conversation of the scientists was the consideration of proposals for improving the information support system for scientific research, educational and other activities of the Institute, the creation of conditions and opportunities for the inclusion of the relevant components of this system in the state and global research infrastructure.In his report, Vyacheslav Oleshchenko, Senior Researcher of the Department of Agrarian, Land and Space Law Problems, Head of the Working Group, submitted substantiated proposals on the above issues for consideration by the Academic Council of the Institute. Based on the results of the discussion of the proposals made by the Working Group, taking into account the proposals made by the members of the Academic Council, it is proposed to form a Concept for Improving the Information Support of the V.M. Koretsky Institute of State and Law as a consolidated document and, in accordance with the priorities defined by it, to implement the corresponding program of measures over a certain period.

The Academic Council recommended for publication the Yearbook of Scientific Works «Rule of Law» No. 36, 2025; the manuscript of the monograph «War Crimes: Problems of Qualification and Punishment» (Zaginey-Zabolotenko Z.A., Shevchuk A.V.); manuscript of the collective monograph "Legal support for the financial stability of the state: banking, budgetary and tax mechanisms"; manuscript of the scientific note by Bezzubov D.O. "Legal mechanisms for ensuring the efficiency and security of the banking system of Ukraine".

The issue of approving the composition of one-time specialized academic councils and approving dissertation topics was also considered.
