On March 25, 2025, a meeting of the Academic Council of the V. M. Koretsky Institute of State and Law of the NAS of Ukraine was held

On March 25, 2025, a meeting of the Academic Council of the V. M. Koretsky Institute of State and Law of the NAS of Ukraine was held, at which important scientific, organizational and personnel issues related to improving the level of scientific research and personnel potential of the Institute were considered. 

The meeting was opened by the Chairman of the Academic Council, Director of the V. M. Koretsky Institute of State and Law of the NAS of Ukraine, Doctor of Law, Professor, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Vice-President of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Honored Lawyer of Ukraine Oleksandr Skrypnyuk,  who greeted the members of the Academic Council and colleagues present at the meeting. In his speech, the Director announced the list of issues included in the agenda of the meeting тand presented new publications of the Institute, in particular the monograph "Optimization of law-making activity: theoretical and legal principles" edited by Natalia Parkhomenko, Head of the Department of Theory of State and Law, Doctor of Law, Professor, Corresponding Member of the NAS of Ukraine, Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, and the monograph " Constitutional, legal and theoretical principles of modernization of Ukrainian parliamentarism in the conditions of implementing the European choice» edited by Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine Yu. S. Shemshuchenko; Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine O.V. Skrypnyuk; Doctor of Laws, Professor A.R. Krusyan; Doctor of Laws, Professor O.V. Batanov

The meeting began with the ceremonial presentation of a diploma on the awarding of the academic title of Senior Researcher in the specialty D8 Law to Natalia Batanova, Senior Research Fellow of the Department of Interdisciplinary and Comparative Legal Studies, Candidate of Law, and Sergiy Sunegin, Senior Research Fellow of the Department of Theory of State and Law, Candidate of Law. 

Director of the V. M. Koretsky Institute of State and Law of the NAS of Ukraine, Doctor of Law, Professor, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Vice-President of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Honored Lawyer of Ukraine Olexandr Skrypnyuk congratulated Olexy Kresin, a leading researcher in the Department of International Law and European Union Law with his election as Director (for 5 years) of Documentation of the International Association of Legal Sciences at UNESCO.

The first item on the agenda was the signing of the Memorandum on cooperation between the V. M. Koretsky Institute of State and Law of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and the All-Ukrainian Public Organization «Association of Ukrainian Lawyers». On behalf of the Institute, the Memorandum was signed by Olexander Skrypnyuk, and on behalf of the NGO - Vasyl Kostytsky. When signing the Memorandum, Olexander Skrypnyuk noted that the purpose of the Memorandum is to consolidate efforts aimed at conducting legal educational activities.

Head of the Department of Agrarian, Land, Environmental and Space Law, Doctor of Law, Professor, Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Honored Worker of Science and Technology of Ukraine Pavlo Kulynich announced the main results of the research on the topic «Problems of Legal Regulation of Agriculture in Ukraine in Conditions of Climate Change». Based on the results of the implementation of the topic, two chapters in collective monographs, 15 scientific articles, 2 popular science articles, 18 abstracts of reports at scientific conferences and round tables were prepared, and the International Scientific and Practical Conference "Legal Provision of Environmental and Food Security in Conditions of Armed Conflicts and Climate Change: World Experience and Ukraine" was held, at which the main results of the research on the topic were presented and discussed. In addition, some results of the research on the topic were presented at other international and all-Ukrainian scientific and practical conferences and round tables.

The scientific research topic "Problems of legal regulation of agriculture in Ukraine in the context of climate change" was supported as completed by the participants of the Academic Council meeting. 

The Academic Council recommended for publication the manuscript of the monograph by Romanova N., Kaminska N. «Implementation of Gender Equality Standards in Ukraine: Theoretical and Methodological, International Legal and Constitutional Principles».

The Academic Council adopted a number of decisions relating to the educational process of postgraduate students, approved the composition of one-time specialized academic councils, and also approved the Admission Rules for 2025.
