On May 6, 2025, a meeting of the Academic Council of the V. M. Koretsky Institute of State and Law of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine was held.

The meeting was opened by the Chairman of the Academic Council, Director of the V. M. Koretsky Institute of State and Law of the NAS of Ukraine, Doctor of Law, Professor, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Vice-President of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Honored Lawyer of Ukraine Oleksandr Skrypnyuk.

The first item on the agenda was the nomination of candidates for election as full members (academicians) and corresponding members of the National Academy of Legal Sciences of Ukraine. Oleksandr Skrypnyuk informed the members of the Academic Council that the National Academy of Legal Sciences of Ukraine, in accordance with its Statute and the Resolution of the Presidium of the National Academy of Legal Sciences of Ukraine No. 151/1 dated April 17, 2025, announced elections from April 18, 2025 to fill 11 vacancies of full members (academicians) and 14 vacancies of corresponding members of the National Academy of Legal Sciences of Ukraine in the following departments: Theory and History of State and Law; State and Legal Sciences and International Law; Civil and Legal Sciences; Environmental, Economic and Agrarian Law; Criminal and Legal Sciences.

Based on a secret ballot, the following were nominated:

– candidate for full members (academicians) of the National Academy of Legal Sciences of Ukraine in the Department of Environmental, Economic and Agrarian Law Doctor of Law, Professor, Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Legal Sciences of Ukraine Kulinych Pavlo Fedotovich;

– candidate for full members (academicians) of the National Academy of Legal Sciences of Ukraine in the Department of State and Legal Sciences and International Law Doctor of Law, Professor, Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Legal Sciences of Ukraine Bukhanevich Oleksandr Mykolayovych;

– candidate for corresponding member of the National Academy of Legal Sciences of Ukraine in the Department of Civil Law Sciences Doctor of Law, Professor Babaskin Anatoly Yuriyovych;

– candidate for corresponding member of the National Academy of Legal Sciences of Ukraine in the Department of State and Legal Sciences and International Law Doctor of Law, Professor Krusyan Anzhelika Romanivna;

– candidate for corresponding member of the National Academy of Legal Sciences of Ukraine in the Department of Criminal Law Sciences Doctor of Law, Professor Kvasha Oksana Oleksandrivna;

– candidate for corresponding member of the National Academy of Legal Sciences of Ukraine in the Department of Environmental, Economic and Agrarian Law Doctor of Law, Professor Kovalenko Tetyana Oleksandrivna.

The composition of the certification commission for the certification of the Institute's scientific staff, the schedule for the certification of the Institute's scientific staff, and the educational and scientific program of the 2nd educational and scientific level D Business, Administration and Law, specialty D4 "Public Management and Administration" were also approved.
