Scientific note: "Conceptual principles of the development of labor legislation of Ukraine in post-war and European integration challenges"

Scientific note:

The Yurinkom Inter publishing house has published a Scientific Note: «Conceptual Principles of the Development of Labor Legislation of Ukraine in Post-War and European Integration Challenges».

The fundamental provisions of reforming the labor legislation of Ukraine in the challenges of post-war reconstruction and European integration are revealed. It is proven that a comprehensive legal reform is a key condition for modernizing the labor market, ensuring decent work, and fulfilling Ukraine's obligations as a candidate country for accession to the EU. The current state of the implementation of the right to work is analyzed and the shortcomings of the current labor legislation, identified through the prism of the practice of the Supreme Court in labor disputes, are revealed. A systemic vision of updating the legal regulation of labor relations through comprehensive recodification is proposed, the result of which should be the adoption of the Labor Code, which will ensure legal certainty and balance of interests of the parties to labor relations, embodying international and European standards.
