Competition of scientific and educational publications on law, security and European integration "Yurydyka"
On May 15, 2026, a solemn event was held in Odessa to award the winners and nominees of the IV International Competition of Scientific and Educational Publications on Law, Security and European Integration "Yurydika". The "Yurydika" Competition is the platform where the best achievements in Ukraine in the field of law, security and European integration are presented. This year, books (monographs, textbooks, teaching aids) published during 2025 were accepted for participation in the competition.
Among the laureates of the competition are scientists from the V. M. Koretsky Institute of State and Law of the NAS of Ukraine. Thus, in the nomination «Collective Scientific Monograph on Public Law» 1st place was taken by the monograph «Constitutional-Legal and Theoretical Principles of Modernization of Ukrainian Parliamentarism in the Conditions of Realization of the European Choice» (edited by Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine Yu. S. Shemshuchenko; Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine O. V. Skrypnyuk; Doctor of Law, Professor A. R. Krusyan; Doctor of Law, Professor O. V. Batanov. Kyiv, 2025. 444 p.). This publication was prepared by the staff of the Department of Constitutional and Municipal Law of the Institute. The authors of the monograph: O. V. In the nomination «Reference publications on security (encyclopedias, dictionaries, reference books)» First place was taken by the publication «International security, national security of Ukraine, human security: problems of ensuring security in the conditions of countering Russian aggression: bibliographical reference book» / edited by prof. N. V. Kaminska; V. M. Koretsky Institute of State and Law of the NAS of Ukraine. Kyiv: «Lyudmila Publishing House», 2025. 170 p. The editor of this publication — Doctor of Law, Professor, Leading Researcher at the Department of International Law and Law of the European Union N. V. Kaminska.
In the nomination "Single-author scientific monograph on public law" First place was awarded to the publication "The Judicial System of the African Union: Monograph. Kyiv: Yurinkom Inter, 2025. 360 p., authored by Doctor of Philosophy in International Law, Research Fellow of the Department of International Law and Law of the European Union of the Institute V. E. Ulyganets.
In the nomination "Single-author scientific monograph on European integration" Second place was awarded to the publication "Effectiveness of Legislation and International Standards of Lawmaking" (Monograph. Kyiv: Yurinkom Inter, 2025. 484 p.), authored by Candidate of Law O. S. Volokhov, who was a doctoral student at the Institute and recently defended his doctoral dissertation at the Institute's specialized academic council. This monograph was recommended by the Institute's Academic Council. Ineta Ziemele was also awarded a special distinction in international law from the V. M. Koretsky Institute of State and Law of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine for her publication «State Continuity and Nationality: The Baltic States and Russia Past, Present and Future as Defined by International Law. Second Revised Edition», which was presented on behalf of the Institute by O. V. Batanov.
