On September 11, 2025, a meeting of the Academic Council of the V. M. Koretsky Institute of State and Law of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine was held

On September 11, 2025, a meeting of the Academic Council of the V. M. Koretsky Institute of State and Law of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine was held.

The meeting was opened by the Chairman of the Academic Council, Director of the V. M. Koretsky Institute of State and Law of the NAS of Ukraine, Doctor of Law, Professor, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Vice-President of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Honored Lawyer of Ukraine Oleksandr Skrypnyuk.

During the meeting, a discussion was held on the scientific work "Innovative technologies for combating crime in the context of ensuring the national security of Ukraine", prepared by the author team of the National Academy of Internal Affairs, which has been admitted to participate in the competition for the Borys Paton National Prize of Ukraine for 2025.

The work, — as noted during the discussion, — presents the development of legal norms, as well as the creation and implementation of innovative crime-fighting tools into Ukrainian law enforcement practice, necessary for more effective provision of Ukraine's national security. The scientific novelty of the results obtained lies in the development of provisions necessary to ensure the security of society and the state as a component of the national security of Ukraine.

More than twenty scientists, people's deputies of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, and practitioners from all regions of Ukraine participated in the discussion of the work.

Summing up the discussion, Oleksandr Skrypnyuk noted that the work was unanimously recommended for consideration by the Committee for Awarding the National Prize of Ukraine named after Borys Paton for 2025.

An important issue of the meeting was the reports on the implementation of the project «Conceptual Principles of Law-Making in Ukraine: Resource Provision, Innovations and Risks».

Koretsky of the NAS of Ukraine, Head of the Department of International Law and European Union Law, Doctor of Law, Professor, Academician of the National Academy of Legal Sciences of Ukraine, Honored Lawyer of Ukraine; Pavlo Kulynich, Head of the Department of Agrarian, Land, Environmental and Space Law, Doctor of Law, Professor, Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Honored Worker of Science and Technology of Ukraine; Nataliya Malysheva, Chief Researcher of the Department of Agrarian, Land, Environmental and Space Law, Doctor of Law, Professor, Full Member (Academician) of the National Academy of Astronautics and Astronautics of Ukraine, Honored Lawyer of Ukraine, Corresponding Member of the International Academy of Astronautics; Angelika Krusyan, Scientific Secretary of the V. M. Koretsky Institute of State and Law of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Doctor of Law, Professor, Honored Lawyer of Ukraine, Acting Head of the Department of Constitutional Law and Local Self-Government, etc.

The updated structure of the V. M. Koretsky Institute of State and Law of the NAS of Ukraine was also presented and some personnel and other current issues were resolved.
